What shipped, and when

OutageDeck ships continuously. This page keeps the receipts: every meaningful release since launch, newest first. For what the product does today, start at the homepage; for how the data is produced, read the methodology.

A cleaner voice across the whole product

Every page, email, and feed got a copy pass toward plainer, more direct writing. The homepage hero and the footer were rebalanced so no panel trails empty space, and a homepage stat that rendered without its space is fixed.

An MCP server for AI agents

Coding agents can now check vendor status before debugging your code. The remote MCP server needs no key and works with Claude Code, Cursor, claude.ai, and any MCP client.

  • Seven read-only tools: provider status, whole-stack verdicts, active incidents, incident timelines, uptime history, a cross-vendor outage report, and provider search.
  • A built-in triage prompt that clients surface as a command.
  • A setup guide at /developers/mcp, plus llms.txt and llms-full.txt documents that always match the live catalog.

Microsoft Teams alerts and four new providers

Paid plans can now deliver alerts into Microsoft Teams as Adaptive Cards. The catalog grew to 172 tracked providers.

  • New providers: Perplexity, Stytch, Kinde, and Airbyte, read from their native status feeds.
  • A request-a-provider form on the directory; the most-requested vendors steer the next wave.
  • Signed-in visitors get one-click "Add to my alerts" on provider pages.
  • Refunds and chargebacks now show alongside payments in the account billing history.

Faster answers everywhere

A sitewide quick-search palette (press Cmd K or Ctrl K), richer incident pages, and deeper filtering on the public API.

  • The incidents API filters by provider, severity, and state, with real pagination; the providers API filters by category.
  • Every incident page shares with its own link-preview card naming the provider, severity, state, and duration.
  • Incident pages link to their older and newer neighbors, and every tracked service carries its own 30-day uptime strip.
  • Paste a package.json on the stack board and your dependencies map to tracked vendors, entirely in the browser.

Check your whole stack at once

New tools for the moment something breaks: one verdict across every vendor you depend on, and status that travels to where your team looks.

  • The /stack board answers "is it us or them?" across up to 12 vendors, with a shareable link and no account.
  • Shared stack links unfurl in Slack and social with a live verdict card.
  • Embeddable status walls for READMEs, wikis, and dashboards at /embed.
  • OutageDeck publishes its own status page at /status, held to the same vocabulary as every tracked vendor.
  • A keyboard-accessibility pass: visible focus everywhere, reduced-motion support.

Alert emails, redesigned

Alert emails now read like the best vendor notifications: status-first subjects, the provider's own latest update quoted in the body, resolution durations, and one-click unsubscribe headers.

168 providers and a 30-day outage report

Two catalog waves in one week brought security, VPN, DevOps, auth, and data platforms into the directory, alongside a new cross-vendor report.

  • The /outage-report page summarizes 30 days of incidents: severity mix, hardest-hit providers, and the longest-running events.
  • New adapters for Oracle Cloud and for Status.io pages brought GitLab and Docker aboard.
  • Every tracked provider now shows its real brand mark.

Telecom coverage and security hardening

Thirteen telecom and connectivity providers joined (Vonage, Telnyx, Plivo, Sinch, Infobip, Bandwidth, Dialpad, Aircall, and more), bringing the catalog to 109. The same week shipped a security pass: a content security policy, hardened JSON-LD rendering, and a supply-chain audit for every committed logo.

Alerts land where you work

A large release focused on getting outage news to your team, not just onto a page.

  • Per-provider alert pages for every tracked vendor, with live status and uptime evidence.
  • Sign in with GitHub or Google alongside email links.
  • The weekly newsletter now sends itself every Monday.
  • A light, dark, and system theme toggle, plus real provider logos across the site.
  • Honest uptime framing: major outages and partial or regional impact are reported separately.
  • An honest comparison against IsDown and StatusGator, with sources linked.

Self-serve accounts, billing, and a free alert tier

Everything between "interested" and "operating" became self-serve, and the catalog reached 96 tracked providers.

  • An account area with email-link sign-in, API key rotation, and alert management.
  • Free email alerts for up to five providers, no card required.
  • In-app billing: cancel or resume, switch plans with proration, download invoices.
  • Every alert subscription has a send-test button that fires through the real pipeline.

Alerting arrives

Outage alerts over webhooks, Slack, and email, fired from the same ingestion run that updates the pages. Paid checkouts provision an API key automatically, and the API gained a full reference with per-endpoint pages.

Jul 6, 2026

Billing and legal foundations

Paddle checkout and subscription webhooks went live alongside the terms, privacy, and refund policies. The catalog grew to 25 providers with incident history backfill.

OutageDeck launches

Live at outagedeck.com: official-source status tracking with per-provider pages, embeddable SVG badges, RSS feeds, an OpenAPI-documented JSON API, daily uptime history, and a public health endpoint.

Hear about releases as they happen

The weekly newsletter covers notable incidents across the industry and ships alongside product news, and the RSS feed carries every tracked incident. If a vendor you depend on is missing, request it and the most-requested vendors steer the next wave.
